Like the legend it’s named for, Lost Dutchman Days has survived more than five decades in the hearts of those who live, work and play at the base of the mighty Superstition Mountains.
Folks fascinated by the Old West—from Boston to Bakersfield—dusted off their Stetsons, polished their Tony Lamas, poured into their Wranglers and headed to Apache Junction’s Rodeo Grounds to see some of the action that still makes the West wild. See Kollenborn’s Chronicles for a history of the event.
The 2019 Lost Dutchman Days is a fun place to be for cowpokes of all ages. The 55th annual event included three days of Grand Canyon Pro Rodeo Association sanctioned action, a free parade, arts fair and a carnival that featured rides and attractions.
