The Apache Junction community came together on Thursday, July 4, 2019 to celebrate the 243rd anniversary of the Declaration of Independence. Volleyball, swimming and a party on Davis Field punctuated the festivities, topped off by a stunning fireworks display. There was plenty of free watermelon, provided by Apache Junction Little League, game booths, bounce houses, water games, bean bag toss and a bicycle, wagon and tricycle float contest. Outside the Line provided musical entertainment. Enjoy these photos by Daniel Dullum.
