I am writing to acknowledge two good Samaritans that helped me when I fell in front of the Apache Junction post office on May 13, 2019. The gentleman helped me to sit up and the lady, who also saw me fall, was giving me Kleenex for my mouth which was bleeding profusely. The gentleman then asked if I could remember my name, which I did, and then asked me if I knew the date. He asked if I needed an ambulance, but I said no. He then suggested he drive me over in my car to Mountain Vista Emergency Room and asked the lady if she would follow him over to give him a ride back to his vehicle. She said yes, so they both helped me to my car. He drove to the Emergency Room, went in and got a wheel chair and wheeled me in. He then parked my car and brought me back my keys. The lady then drove him back to the post office.

I received six stitches in my upper lip and six in the lower and am recovering very well. I don’t know what I would have done if these two persons hadn’t been there and were such good people. I recently had a knee operation and wouldn’t have been able to get up.

I don’t know their names and I am hoping they read your paper so I can tell them thank you and how much I appreciated their help. It meant everything to me.
