The Arizona Cardinals Football Club today announced that the team has been awarded its waiver claim on tight end Dan Arnold from the New Orleans Saints. To make room on the roster, the team has placed defensive lineman Jonathan Bullard (hamstring) on injured reserve.

Arnold (6-6, 220) played in 12 games (one start) with the Saints the past two seasons (2018-19) and had 14 receptions for 175 yards and one touchdown. He began the season on the Saints practice squad and had two receptions for 25 yards in two games after being elevated to the active roster. The 24-year old Arnold originally joined the Saints as an undrafted rookie free agent in 2017 out of Wisconsin-Platteville where he played wide receiver. Arnold spent his rookie season on injured reserve before playing in 10 games last season. While at Wisconsin-Platteville, Arnold had 65 receptions for 1,176 yards and 16 touchdowns as a senior in 2016.
